I am a UK, Oxfordshire based fine artist, self taught and painted since childhood. When possible I prefer to paint outdoors and love the challenge of painting “en plein air”. I am particularly drawn to painting landscapes, rivers and waterways, capturing the essence and mood of a scene at that moment in time. I like to keep the paint handling free and expressive using both brush and palette knife work. I have exhibited with the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal institute of oil painters in 2020.
